Military Programs
TransGlobal has enjoyed a long-term history of service to various military vehicle customers since 1989. Services range from product development and engineering, to limited volume vehicle production. Contracts have been successfully completed both as prime contractor and through automotive OEMs as subcontractor. TransGlobal has been a full-service supplier to General Motors Military truck Group since 1991, providing design, engineering and manufacturing support for numerous military truck programs.

TransGlobal was awarded in October 2009 the TACOM coffin Transports. 26 units where built in six months for Iraq/Afghanistan Security Forces

Fort Bliss, Texas contracted TransGlobal to build a fleet of electronics testing vans for use by the ATEC department. The vans featured Quigley 4WD drivetrain; raised roof with A/C; special interior upfits; and an access door built into the left side of the van body. TransGlobal delivered the vans early and recieved high marks for quality.

TransGlobal manufactured a fleet of radio jamming shelters for Al Jazirah Ford in Saudi Arabia. These specially-designed shelters house radio jamming equipment for convoy use in the Middle East and are mounted on high-performance Ford F450 Super Duty chassis cabs. In a follow-up contract, TransGlobal provided NIJ Level III armoring for the truck cabs, and other chassis modifications.

TransGlobal was the powertrain integration services and prototype kit manufacturer under contract to ITEC for this competition entry in a TACOM program for the US armed services. The programn objective was to provide improved performance by integrating an ITEC V6 diesel powertrain in place of the exsting HMMWV gasoline engine. TransGlobal also built a demonstration vehicle and provided 5 kits for demonstration retrofit at an Army depot motor pool.
